One week on and the sun is out - sods law me thinks. Anyways - congrats on a brilliant day/night. Enjoyed all the bands - particularly impressed with Operation Error (it was a privalege to see a band who will no doubt be signed very soon).

Hope there is another event next year :-)

Thank you to everyone who volunteerd to work behind the scenes of the event including cake makers, stall holders, face painters, gate staff and clean-up gang!   A special thank you to Tom (Fireflyz) for travelling to Tean from London to do this event - (Mike could not perform, due to severe burns to his hand following a previous performance!) He was supported by Andrew Stephenson (Magician) & Jo, to enble him to   perform in the difficult conditions. Finally, many thanks to everyone who put their hand their pockets pulled-on their wellies and braved the British weather with humour!!   You made the day wonderful! Lynne x

HEY, HEY, HEY, STOP THIS!!!
Just because my name seems to have been banded around most about Air-Aid-08 doesn't mean the rest are nameless.
Don't forget Mark Deaville, A lot of you probably don't know him but he's sorted a lot out and will have a lot of 'mopping up' to do for a few weeks now it's over, Also, Steve Sanders (geordie fella who was compering) who did a load of grafting and his other half Lynne.

It was meant to be a joint effort so the names are
Mark, Stev & Lynne, Joe and Mandy!!!

cheers Joe

Hi,

I run a site (myspace at the moment very soon to also be joined by a "normal" site) The website advertises local gigs and bands. Unfortunately I have a gig this Saturday else I would offer my services as lighting engineer or sound/monitor engineer or roadie. So when I drove past this sign I Was rather shocked that I hadn't heard about this!

Please be in touch with me with any gigs you know about in the local area, I am trying to get my site known!

The address (at the moment) is www.myspace.com/giginfo I will have the main site running very soon but I am having some security issues at the moment.

Please be in touch and tell me if you want me to put some last minute shouts about, about this gig. My email address is gigsinfo@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks
Tom

By the way if you want me to get rid of that annoying pop-up on the bottom right of the site give me a shout html/javascript is something I have been learning over the past year :)

Cheers
